Dhaka,
May 10 (UNB) – Price index at the Dhaka Stock Exchange continued to rise
today (Tuesday) although losers outnumbered the gainers. All
Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse gained 0.25 points or
0.04 percent to close at 518.09 points from Tuesday’s 517.84 points. Of
the 158 listed securities traded today, 60 advanced, 66 declined and 32
remained unchanged. Some
1,743,379 shares and debentures worth Tk 7.78 crore changed hands as
against 1,511,681 shares valued at TK 8.29 crore on the previous day. Dynamic
Tex (393,740), Rangpur Foundry (329,500), Bionic Food (96,500) and BD
Welding (76,000) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 48.60 billion from Tk 48.58 billion on Tuesday.
