May 11 (UNB) - Seven Bangladeshi business firms took part in the 24th
Osaka International Trade Fair-2000 at Osaka, Japan. Bangladesh
is likely to receive a good number import orders as the visitors showed
their keen interest in Bangladeshi products at the weeklong fair
inaugurated by Osaka Trade Fair Commission President Wa Tasiro on April
29. A
total of 1023 world establishments, including 735 from Japan, took part in
the fair, said an Export Promotion Bureau press release today. Diplomats,
high government officials, Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, JETRO
representatives, representatives of the participants and journalists from
home and abroad attended the inaugural function.
