May 12, 2000 Dhaka,
May 11 (UNB) – Week’s trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed today
marking a rise in its benchmark. All
Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse gained 0.04 points or
0.00 percent to close at 518.13 points from Wednesday’s 518.09 points. Of
the 160 listed securities traded today, 70 advanced, 64 declined and 26
remained unchanged. Some
1,681,606 shares and debentures worth Tk 8.47 crore changed hands as
against 1,743,379 shares valued at TK 7.78 crore on the previous day. Dynamic
Tex (421,400), Rangpur Foundry (181,000), ACI (83,100) and BD Welding
(74,000) were among the volume leaders. Market
capitalisation stood at Tk 48.60 billion from Tk 48.60 billion on
Wednesday.
