Dhaka, May 15 (UNB) – Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange finished higher today (Monday) posting a slight rise in its benchmark indicator.

All Share Price Index on the country’s main bourse gained by 1.00 point or 0.19 per cent to close at 523.27 points from Sunday’s 522.27 points.

Of the 166 shares traded today, 100 advanced, 41 declined and 25 remained unchanged.

Some 2,466,988 shares and debentures worth Tk 9.45 crore changed hands as against 2,504,550 shares valued at Tk 8.48 crore on the previous trading day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 49.08 billion from Tk 48.99 billion on Sunday.
