Dhaka, May 20 (UNB) – Week’s trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange closed lower today (Saturday) although the turnover in terms of both volume and value increased.
All Share price Index at the country’s main bourse declined by 1.99 points or 0.37 percent to close at 526.91 points from Thursday’s 528.90 points.
Of the 180 listed securities traded today, 98 declined, 62 advanced and 20 remained unchanged.
Some 2,250,010 shares and debentures worth Tk 12.39 crore changed hands as against 2,236,204 shares valued at Tk 10.87 crore on the previous trading day.
Market capitalisation stood at Tk 49.43 billion from Tk 49.61 billion on Thursday.
