Chittagong, May 27 (UNB) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange finished higher today (Saturday) marking a significant rise in its benchmark.
All Share Price Index at the country’s second bourse gained 8.11 points or 0.73 percent to close at 1107.45 points from Thursday’s 1099.34 points.
Of the 61 listed securities traded today, 26 gained, 22 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
Some 3,405,240 shares and debentures worth Tk 5.08 crore changed hands as against 1,092,230 shares valued at Tk 4.69 crore on the previous trading day.
Market capitalization stood at Tk 42.19 billion from Thursday’s Tk 41.81 billion.
