May 5, 2000 Dhaka, May 4 (UNB) – Week’s trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed today (Thursday) posting a slight gain in its benchmark. All Share Price Index at the country's main bourse gained 1.13 points or 0.22 per cent to close at 514.41 points from Wednesday’s 513.28 points. Of the 171 listed securities traded today, 103 advanced, 46 declined and 22 remained unchanged. Some 1,364,246 shares and debentures valued at TK 7.70 crore were traded as against 1,498,322 shares worth Tk 7.75 crore on the previous trading day. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 48.25 billion against Tk 48.15 billion Thursday.
