May 6 (UNB) – Week’s trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange began today
(Saturday) with a rise in its benchmark as the gainers dominated over the
losers. All
Share Price Index at the country's main bourse gained 2.44 points or 0.47
per cent to close at 516.85 points from Thursday’s 514.41 points. Of
the 172 listed securities traded today, 100 advanced, 41 declined and 31
remained unchanged. Some
1,338,169 shares and debentures valued at Tk 8.38 crore were traded as
against 1,364,246 shares worth Tk 7.70 crore on the previous trading day. Market
capitalisation stood at Tk 48.48 billion as against Tk 48.25 billion
Thursday.
