Dhaka, May 8 (UNB) – Despite the gainers dominated the losers the key indicator at the Dhaka Stock Exchange continued to show a downtrend for the second straight day today (Monday).
All Share Price Index at the country's main bourse shed 0.26 points or 0.05 percent to close at 516.58 points from Sunday’s 516.84 points.
Of the 162 listed securities traded today, 71 advanced, 58 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
Some 1,219,986 shares and debentures worth Tk 7.36 crore were transacted today as against 1,325,204 shares valued at TK 7.54 crore on the previous trading day.
Market capitalization stood at Tk 48.46 billion from Tk 48.48 billion on Sunday.
