Dhaka,
June 11 (UNB) – The price index at the Dhaka stock Exchange finished
higher today (Sunday) with the gainers outnumbering the losers. All
Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse gained by 2.93 points or
0.54 percent to close at 544.07 points from Saturday’s 541.14 points. Of
the 173 listed securities traded today, 91 advanced, 54 declined and 28
remained unchanged.
Some
1,937,437 shares and debentures valued Tk 12.74 crore changed hands today
as against 2,122,900 shares worth Tk 9.63 crore on the previous trading
day. Market
capitalization stood at Tk 51.51 billion as against Tk 51.23 billion on
Saturday.
