Gainers outnumber losers at DSE |

Dhaka, (UNB) – Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday posting a significant gain in its benchmark as the gainers strongly outnumbered the losers. All
Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse gained 7.16 points or
1.29 percent to close at 557.88 points from Tuesday’s 550.72 points. Of
the 178 listed securities traded yesterday, 139 advanced, 21 declined and 18
remained unchanged. Some
3,039,309 shares and debentures valued at Tk 14.57 crore changed hands as
against 2,115,667 shares worth Tk 11.78 crore on the previous trading day. AIMs
First Mutual Fund (912,500), Dynamic Textiles (161,480), Quasem Drycell
(149,000), Beximco Pharma (148,150) and Rangpur Foundry (139,000) were
among the day’s volume leaders. Market capitalization stood at Tk 52.82 billion as against Tk 52.14 billion Tuesday.
