 Dhaka
      (UNB) – Week’s trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange began yesterday
      (Saturday) with a fall in its benchmark as the losers strongly outnumbered
      the gainers.   All
      Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse shed 1.77 points or 0.31
      percent to close at 567.06 points from Thursday’s 568.83 points.   Of
      the 183 listed securities traded today, 119 advanced, 48 declined and 16
      remained unchanged.   Some
      5,607,933 shares and debentures valued at Tk 16.86 crore changed hands as
      against 5,822,137 shares worth Tk 16.40 crore on the previous trading day.   AIMs
      First Mutual Fund (1,592,500), Beximco Pharma (625,900), Quasem Drycell
      (496,800) and Chic Textiles (344,500) were among the day’s volume
      leaders.   Market capitalization stood at Tk 53.69 billion as against Thursday’s Tk 53.85 billion.  |
