Annual general meeting of BGMEA held |

Dhaka, June 3 (UNB) – The 17th annual general meeting of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) was held today (Saturday) at a local hotel. Chaired by BGMEA president Anisur Rahman Sinha the meeting unanimously approved its budget for the year 2000 after endorsing last year’s annual and auditors report. Ex-president of BGMEA M Mosharraf Hossain MP, incumbent vice-presidents Khalilur Rahman, Anisul Huq and Benazir Ahmed, directors and members attended the meeting. Earlier, an extra-ordinary general meeting of the association was held at the same venue, said a press release.
