Chittagong, (UNB) – Trading at the Chittagong Stock Exchange closed with a fall in its benchmark yesterday (Tuesday) as the losers dominated the gainers. The CSE All Share Price Index lost 2.53 points or 0.23 per cent to close at 1117.74 points from Monday’s 1120.27 points. Of the 69 listed securities traded today, 27 gained, 32 declined and 10 remained unchanged. Some 588,605 shares and debentures worth Tk 5.32 crore were transacted as against 748,045 shares valued at Tk 4.50 crore on the previous trading day. Dynamic Textile (177,900), Meghna Cement (116,600), Padma Printers (63,600) and Rangpur Foundry (36,000) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalization stood at Tk 42.94 billion from Tk 43.02 billion on Monday. |
