Armed goons looted away Tk 16 lakh from EPZ |

Chittagong (UNB) – Armed goons swooped into a Korean industry in the Chittagong Export Processing Zone and looted away Tk 16 lakh yesterday. Police said about 10 armed youths came in a microbus and attacked the industrial unit, Lines Bangladesh Ltd, in the EPZ at about 2pm. The gangsters robbed the cash readied for employees’ salary at gunpoint. “The snatching took place in front of security personnel of the EPZ,” an eyewitness account said. A case was filed with police. |
