Chittagong (UNB) - Price Index at the Chittagong Stock Exchange marked further rise yesterday (Thursday) as the gainers outnumbered the losers. The CSE All Share Price Index rose by 14.16 points or 1.07 per cent to close at 1361.77 points from previous day's 1347.29. Of the 71 listed securities traded yesterday, 43 gained, 23 declined and five remained unchanged. Some 4,280,624 shares and debentures valued at Tk 10.79 crore changed hands yesterday as against 5,982,482 shares worth Tk 13.24 crore on the previous trading day. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 51.56 billion from Tk 51.06 billion on wednesday. |
