Dhaka (UNB) – Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher on Sunday with the gainers dominating the losers.

The DSE All Share Price Index rose by 4.9 points or 0.87 percent to close at 565.90 points from Thursday’s 561 points.

Of the 122 listed securities traded yesterday, 84 advanced, 26 declined and 12 remained unchanged.

Some 2,443,093 shares and debentures valued at Tk 10.03 crore changed hands as against 4,034,676 shares worth Tk 12.41 crore on the previous trading day.

Beximco Pharma (333,000), Quasem Dry-cell (272,900), Legacy Footwear (261,000), Rangpur Foundry (228,000) and Aims First MF (207,500) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 53.58 billion as against Tk 53.11 billion on Thursday.
