Dhaka (UNB) – Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Monday) as turnover in terms of both volume and value increased.
The DSE All Share Price Index rose by 4.43 points or 0.78 percent to close at 570.33 points from Sunday’s 565.90 points.
Of the 162 listed securities traded yesterday, 92 advanced, 49 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
Some 2,902,626 shares and debentures valued at Tk 13.85 crore changed hands as against 2,443,093 shares worth Tk 10.03 crore on the previous trading day. Aims First MF (787,500), Beximco Pharma (373,000), Quasem Dry-cell (208,700), Sino Bangla (149,000), Rangpur Foundry (106,000) and Meghna Shrimp (106,940) were among the day’s volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 54 billion as against Tk 53.58 billion on Sunday.
