 Sangsad Bhaban (UNB) - Industrial plots in four new export processing zones are ready for allotment among investors in the EPZs, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina told parliament yesterday (Tuesday).   Replying to Kazi Keramat Ali (AL), she said plots in Mongla and Ishawrdi EPZs are ready for allocation while those in Comilla and Syedpur would be ready by December this year.   She said the Private Export Processing Zone 1996 was amended in parliament to attract foreign investment and expedite industrialisation. Already two entrepreneurs have been allowed to set up EPZs in the private sector. They are Korean EPZ and Rangunia EPZ in Chittagong.   The
      Prime Minister informed the House that 27 industrial parks were set up in
      different districts and such more parks would 
      be set up on BSCIC’s unused land.  a regional grouping, consists of Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Sri
      Lanka and Thailand.
