Chittagong (UNB) - Price index in Chittagong Stock Exchange finished lower yesterday as the losers dominated the gainers. The CSE All Share Price Index shed 2.57 points or 0.18 percent to close at 1385.33 points from Sunday's 1387.90 points. Of the 70 listed securities traded yesterday, 20 gained, 45 declined and five remained unchanged. Some 3,304,070 shares and debentures worth Tk 8.92 crore were traded as against 4,382,251 shares valued at Tk 11.73 crore on the previous trading day. AIMS First Guaranteed (1,575,000), Beximco Pharmaceuticals (560,100), Chic Tex (371,000) and Quashem Dry-cells (250,600) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 52.38 billion from Sundays' 52.48 billion.
