Dhaka (UNB) - A new 500-taka note with multifarious security textures will be issued for transaction today (Thursday). Bangladesh Bank prepared the new note in recto-verso printing, the denomination written in indelible ink, holographic security thread, water print, hidden writing, micro-print and see-through safety measures. Prepared with cent percent cotton fiber 152mm by 65mm standard sized paper, the note will have the pictures of Satgombuj Mosque and father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on its front side and the Supreme Court on the other. It will bear the signature of Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr Mohammad Farasuddin. |
