Chittagong (UNB) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange ended lower yesterday as the losers dominated the gainers. The CSE All Share Price Index shed 12.27 points or 0.85 percent to close at 1427.31 points from Monday’s 1439.58 points. Of the 71 listed securities traded yesterday, 50 declined, 14 gained and seven remained unchanged. Some 2,422,630 shares and debentures worth Tk 5.31 crore were transacted as against 1,412,320 shares valued at Tk 5.83 crore on the previous trading day. Market capitalization stood at Tk 53.90 billion from Monday’s Tk 54.32 billion. |
