Chittagong (UNB) - As the gainers dominated the losers, Price index at Chittagong Stock Exchange marked a rise yesterday (Saturday). The CSE All Share Price Index gained 24.12 points or 1.73 per cent to close at 1417.43 points from Thursday's 1393.31 points. Of the 75 listed securities traded yesterday, 59 gained, 12 declined and four remained unchanged. Some 1,491,125 shares and debentures valued at Tk 6.10 crore changed hands as against 1,427,591 shares worth Tk 4.65 crore on the previous day. AIMS First Guaranteed (525,000), Chic Textiles (181,000), Beximco Pharma (156,550) and Quasem Drycells (114,650) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 53.49 billion from Wednesday's Tk 52.66 billion.
