Dhaka (UNB) - Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Sunday) as the gainers outnumbered the losers.

All Share Price Index at the country's main bourse rose by 10.95 points or 1.67 percent to close at 663.82 points from Saturday's 652.87 points.

Of the 167 listed securities traded yesterday, 116 gained, 39 declined and 12 remained unchanged.

Some 6,709,006 shares and debentures valued at Tk 34.63 crore were traded today as against 4,601,386 shares worth Tk 24.53 crore on the previous day.

Aims First Mutual Fund (2,190,000), Beximco Pharma (867,600), Quashem Drycell (665,100), Shine Pukur (298,850) and Rangpur Foundry (263,000) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 63 billion as against Tk 61.96 billion on Saturday.
