Chittagong (UNB)- Upswing at the Chittagong Stock Exchange continued with a jump of 18.43 points in its benchmark index yesterday (Sunday). The CSE All Share Price Index gained by 1.3 percent to close at 1435.87 points from Saturday's 1417.43 points. Of the 82 listed securities traded yesterday, 51 gained, 22 declined and nine remained unchanged. Some 3,052,710 shares and debentures valued at Tk 10.44 crore changed hands as against 1,491,125 shares worth Tk 6.1 crore on the previous day. AIMS First Guaranteed MF (1,240,000), Beximco Pharma (426,300), Quashem Drycells (404,850), Shinepukur (229,700) and Chic Textiles (208,500) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 54.2 billion from Saturday's Tk 53.49 billion.
