Chittagong (UNB) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange finished lower yesterday (Saturday) marking a significant fall in its benchmark index. The CSE All Share Price Index shed 20.65 points or 1.49 percent to close at 1359.32 points from Thursday’s 1379.97 points. Of the 72 listed securities traded yesterday, 17 gained, 49 declined and six remained unchanged. Some 1,150,792 shares and debentures valued at TK 4.01 crore changed hands as against 651,022 shares worth TK 2.37 crore on the previous trading day. Sino Bangla (317,500), Beximco Pharma (203,450), Chic Tex (122,000) and AIMS 1st Guaranteed (112,000) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 51.59 billion from Tk 52.31 billion on Thursday.
