Dhaka (UNB) – Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange finished lower yesterday with losers strongly outnumbering the gainers.

The DSE All Share Price Index declined 2.84 points or 0.45 percent to close at 614.29 points from Thursday’s 617.13 points.

Of the 175 listed securities traded yesterday, 135 declined, 30 advanced and 10 remained unchanged.

Some 5,056,599 shares and debentures worth Tk 15.91 crore were transacted as against 3,414,071 shares valued at Tk 15.45 crore on the previous trading day.

AIMS First Mutual Fund (1,920,000), Beximco Pharma (575,500), Raspit (229,500), Fu Wang Food (162,000), Bionic Food (157,500) and Chic Tex (143,500) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalization stood at Tk 58.30 billion from 59.57 billion on Thursday.
