Chittagong (UNB) – The main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange closed lower yesterday due to lackluster trading. The CSE All Share Price Index shed 13.50 points or 1 per cent to close at 1325.63 points from Thursday’s 1339.13 points. Of the 67 listed securities traded yesterday, six gained, 54 declined and seven remained unchanged. Some 1,224,555 shares and debentures worth Tk 4.20 crore were transacted as against 1,405,980 shares valued at Tk 4.93 crore on the previous trading day. Market capitalization stood at Tk 50.42 billion from Tk 52.60 billion on Thursday. |
