Dhaka, Sept 25 (UNB) – After experiencing a downtrend for the last two days, trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher today with gainers outnumbering the losers.

The DSE All Share Price Index rose by 5.88 points or 0.96 percent to close at 613.93 points from Sunday’s 608.05 points.

Of the 153 listed securities traded today, 94 advanced, 47 declined and 12 remained unchanged.

Some 3,805,792 shares and debentures valued at Tk 15.59 crore were transacted as against 3,448,981 shares worth Tk 55.87 crore on the previous trading day.

Beximco Pharma (657,000), AIMS First Mutual Fund (592,500), Bionic Food (520,500), Chic Tex (265,000) and Raspit (211,500) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 58.27 billion as against Tk 57.51 billion on Sunday.
