Chittagong, - The main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange marked 11.32 points fall yesterday (Tuesday) with the losers heavily outnumbering the gainers. The CSE All Share Price Index lost 11.32 points or 0.80 percent to close at 1400.41 points from Monday's 1411.73 points. Of the 70 listed securities traded yesterday, 12 gained, 49 declined and nine remained unchanged. Some 1,249,549 shares and debentures valued at Tk 4.15 crore changed hands yesterday as against 961,175 shares worth Tk 4.39 crore on the previous trading day. Sino Bangla Industries (430,000), Fu-Wang Foods (302,500), AIMS First Guaranteed (95,000), Rangpur Foundry Ltd (93,500) and BD Welding Electrodes (60,500) were among the day's volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 52.99 billion from Tk 53.38 billion on Monday. |
