German technical assistance for Bangladesh |

Dhaka (UNB) - Bangladesh will receive technical assistance totaling Tk 20 crore from Germany for its health and population sector programme (HPSP). A note of exchange between the governments of Bangladesh and Germany to this effect has been completed. With this, the Germany's total contribution to HPSP stands at Tk 134 crore, said a press release yesterday. The new assistance will be utilised in developing human resources in the health sector in three ways: offering advisory services to the responsible ministry, strengthening health training institutions and developing new approaches in health training and researches. |
