          Gopalganj,
          July 2 (UNB) – Tungipara Pourasava has announced a Tk 6.15 crore
          budget for fiscal 2000-2001 without imposing any new tax. 
            
          
           
          Pourasava
          Chairman M Ilias Hossain announced the budget in presence of poura
          officials and local journalists in its conference room on Tuesday. 
            
          
           
          In
          the new budget, Tk 6,10,65,000 has been earmarked for development
          programmes. 
             
          Presenting
          the budget, the chairman said of the total amount, Tk 40.15 lakh will
          come from revenue sector while Tk 5.75 crore from other sectors. 
            
          
           
          Another
          report from Chapainawabganj adds: Chapainawabganj Pourasava on Monday
          announced a Tk 16.94 crore surplus budget for fiscal 2000-2001. 
            
          
           
          Announcing
          the budget Pourasava chairman Moinuddin Mondol said of the total
          budget, Tk 6.84 crore will come from revenue sector while the rest
          from government grants. 
            
          
           
          He
          said Tk 13.52 crore will be spent for development activities of the
          municipality.
