Gopalganj,
July 4 (UNB) – A man was sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment
by a court here recently in a robbery case.
The
court also fined Shahin Sheikh, son of Chan Miah Sheikh of Patgati
Dakhin Para in Tungipara upazila, Tk 13,025.
According
to prosecution, Shahin Sheikh looted Tk 13,025 from the house of
Kamala Begum leaving her critically injured on Oct 3, 1999.
After
examining the witnesses and records, the Additional District and
Sessions Judge pronounced the judgement on July 29.
