Khulna,
May 9 (UNB) – Like many other districts of the country, gas cylinder
crisis has also gripped the city, hampering household works.
Market
sources said gas cylinder price has shot up in the city due to the
crisis attributed to short supply. A cylinder full of gas is now
selling at Tk 380-420 against the previous rate of Tk 295.
They
said Padma, Meghna and Jamuna petroleum companies used to supply
25,000 to 30,000 gas cylinders a month, but they are now supplying
12,000 to 15,000 cylinders.
