and 15 others injured in a road accident at Jhilerdanga bus stand on
Khulna-Satkhira highway today (Wednesday).

sources said gas cylinder price has shot up in the city due to the
crisis attributed to short supply. A cylinder full of gas is now
selling at Tk 380-420 against the previous rate of Tk 295.

district Ershad Shikdar and one of the initiators of his Nalsity
project Kabir Hossain Mridha today.
Acting
on a tip-off, police arrested him at 11 am from the Railway TT colony
in the town. He was wanted in connection with a GR case but went into
hiding after the arrest of Ershad Shikdar.
