Khulna,
May 15 (UNB) – Police recovered firearms from the office of a
municipal ward commissioner here Sunday night.
Acting
on a tip, police raided the office of Taslimuddin Khan, commissioner
of ward no 15, and recovered a gun, one round of bullet, a
pistol-cover and some arms making equipment.
Police,
however, could not arrest anyone in this connection. The commissioner
and his associates have been absconding since the raid.
A
case was filed in this connection.
