Naogaon,
Apr 17 (UNB) – A housewife was strangulated allegedly by her husband
in Bazar area of the town on Saturday.
Police
said Syed Sajedul alias Masum killed his wife Zinat, 20, an HSC
examinee of Naogaon Govt Women’s College, and took her to Sadar
Hospital saying that she was injured in a road accident.
When
the doctor declared her dead, Sajedul brought the body back home and
told the neighbors that his wife committed suicide.
Being
informed by her brother, police recovered the body the following day
and sent to it hospital morgue for autopsy.
A
murder case was filed. Sajedul is absconding.
