Naogaon,
Apr 24 (UNB) – A court here recently convicted three people and
sentenced them to life term in jail in a murder case.
The
lifers are yarn traders Abul Kalam of Tangail district, Harendra
Chandra Barman of Dhamrairhat and Shahabuddin of Mohadevpur upazila in
Naogaon.
According
to prosecution, the accused took their partner Razzak to Dhamrairhat
range forest on Dec 10, 1989 and killed him there following a
misunderstanding in their business.
After
examining the records and witnesses, Additional District and Sessions
Judge No. 1 found them guilty of murder and handed down the judgement
on Thursday.
The
court also fined them Tk 10,000 each, or else, to suffer 2 years more
RI.
